How to Disable Ad Blocker in Your Internet Browser

If you use an ad-blocking browser extension or a privacy-focused internet browser, certain functions within PSAI may no longer work properly. (PSAI is not an advertisement and will not advertise to you, but the tool may be inadvertently blocked due to the way that ad blockers try to detect ads.)

We strongly recommend removing ad blockers or at least disabling them for PSAI. To do so, please follow the instructions below, based on the internet browser you use:

Please note that there are many different ad-blocking extensions. One of the most popular is AdBlock Plus. If you aren't sure which extension is blocking PSAI, look at them individually in your internet browser's settings or use your browser's Ctrl+F feature to search for words like "block" or "ads." If you use multiple ad blockers, you'll need to ensure that all are disabled.

Google Chrome

1. Go to the Chrome Menu

From any web page in Google Chrome, click the three-dots button in the upper right corner.

2. Click More Tools > Extensions

Open your Extensions settings by going to More Tools and then Extensions.

3. Toggle the Extension Off...

Find the ad-blocking extension and toggle it off. This will turn the extension off for all websites in this browser.

4. ...Or Disable It for PSAI

If you do not want to completely turn the extension off, you can also turn it off only for PSAI. To do so, click "Details."

Then click "Extension Options."

Then click "Whitelisted websites" and paste the PSAI URL into the field:

Internet Explorer

  1. From any page in the Internet Explorer browser, click the gear icon to open the Tools menu.
  2. Select the Manage Add-ons option.
  3. Select Toolbars and Extensions from the left navigation pane.
  4. Right-click on your ad-blocking extension and select Disable.

Please be aware that Microsoft is phasing out Internet Explorer. We strongly recommend switching browsers for best performance.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Select the More actions (…) button.
  2. Select Settings, then Cookies, and then Site Permissions.
  3. Scroll down to “pop-ups” and “Ads” and select each tab and make sure it is turned off.

1. Go to the Firefox Menu

From any page in Firefox, open the Firefox menu by clicking the hamburger icon in the upper right corner.

2. Go to Add-Ons

From the menu, click "Add-ons and themes."

3. Toggle the Extension Off...

Go to the Extensions page and then find the ad-blocking extension. Toggle it off.

4. ...Or Disable It for PSAI
