To create any new site conversion tool in PSAI, you'll first need to enter some basic settings. These settings must be established whenever you first create a new tool, but you can also edit the settings of an existing site tool at any time.
These settings are located under the Settings tab.
Not sure how to get here? Read our instructions on how to create a new site tool or how to edit an existing site tool. (Link coming soon!)
This article will look at each setting on this page individually.
Marketing Source Name
The first setting is for the name. In this field, give a custom name to your site tool. The more specific and clear your name is, the easier it will be to keep track of where your leads are coming from.
The name you choose here will be displayed in several places across PSAI. Most notably, it will be shown in the Com Portal as the source associated with the lead (shown below).
You'll also be able to filter leads in the Com Portal based on the name of your site tools—so choose something that makes sense to you and your other PSAI Users.
The next setting is for "Engagement Type," which allows you to choose your preferred type of site tool. If you are creating a new site tool, then you will be able to select a type by clicking the radio button, as shown below.
If you're creating an SMS number, then you'll have the additional option of choosing your number's area code. Learn more about SMS numbers here. (Link coming soon!)
However, if you are editing an existing site tool, then the Engagement Type setting will reflect the type of tool you're currently editing. This setting cannot be changed once a tool has been created.
Allowed Website URLs
In this field, you'll add the website(s) where your site tool will appear. This would usually include your company's main website, plus any other sister sites or other marketing sites you use. If you are adding multiple URLs, separate them with commas.
Instead of typing the URL manually, open a new browser tab and navigate to the desired website. Then copy the URL directly from the browser's address bar to make sure that the entire URL is completely correct (including any http:// or https:// or www.).
In this field, add all email addresses that you would like to be notified whenever a lead is submitted. You can add as many email addresses as you like, separated by commas. These email addresses can belong to PSAI users, but they do not have to.
Because your email notifications are set on an individual site tool basis, you can decide exactly who is notified for every site tool.
You can change your lead notifications any time from this same Settings panel.
In this field, you can add up to 3 cell phone numbers to receive automatic SMS notifications whenever a lead comes in through this specific site tool. Again, you can assign your SMS notifications to the team members who are most equipped to handle that specific lead.
