It's easy to calculate a Predictive Portrait for any lead in your Com Portal. Simply follow the instructions below.
To calculate a Predictive Portrait, you must have the lead's full name, home address, and phone number. Moreover, it must be the correct name matched with the correct address, as PSAI will verify the lead against a database to ensure accuracy.
1. Find Your Lead
Find the lead for whom you'd like to access predictive insights. To locate the lead quickly, use the lead buckets, search bar, or filter tool—and get more Com Portal search tips here, if you need them.
Once you've found the lead, click on his or her name to enter the main engagement page, as shown below.
Want to calculate a Predictive Portrait for a lead that is not yet in the Com Portal? You can do that by manually adding a new contact and starting a conversation! Then continue with the instructions below.
2. Click the Predictive Portrait Button
To calculate the Predictive Portrait, simply click the green button that says "Calculate Predictive Portrait Now."
Finding the Predictive Portrait Button on Mobile
If you're using the Com Portal on your mobile device, you can access the right-hand panel (which includes the "Calculate Predictive Portrait Now" button) by tapping the three-dot Options menu in the upper right corner.
Once you've tapped to open the Options menu, the green button will appear at the very top of the screen.
Don't see the button to calculate a Predictive Portrait? This most likely means that you do not have access to view predictive insights in PSAI. Alternatively, you may have access to view them, but the Predictive Portrait has not yet been calculated. Check with your PSAI administrator to review your User settings.
3. View the Predictive Insights
Once you've calculated the Predictive Portrait, you'll see not just one but two new predictive insights appear in the same right-hand panel of the Com Portal:
- The Predictive Match Index (PMI) will display at the very top.
- The Predictive Portrait will display toward the bottom. (Notice that there are three tabs to a Predictive Portrait, so be sure to click into all of them!)
Any changes to your lead's contact information will require you to re-calculate the Predictive Portrait.
