This dashboard display allows for management of marketing sources. The display includes the Name and Engagement Type for each source, along with an option to Copy the link for the Lead Portal Connection.
Editing an Existing App
Clicking into an existing app will bring you to a detailed display with three tab options:
- Settings
- Customize
- Connection
Settings
Settings in this Marketing Source display include:
- Marketing Source Name
- Engagement Type—Chat, Weather Widget, Quote Form, or SMS. The subsequent fields will remain the same for all engagement types with the exception of SMS.
When SMS is selected in this field, an additional field for Search Preferred Area Code will appear. Searching for a preferred area code will display options for purchasing a phone number through our Twilio API for texting—the purchased number will display in the Connection tab of the app.
- Allowed Website URL(s)—list of websites, separated by commas, that are allowed to host this app.
- Emails to be Notified when a New Lead Comes In—list of all emails that require notification, separated by commas.
- Cell Phone Numbers to be Notified when Text Message Engagements are Received
- Endpoints—allows for input of Endpoint URL that leads will flow to (e.g. different CRM).
- Export Data—allows for export of data via a CSV file.
- Delete Your App—this action cannot be undone, and all contacts and settings will be removed.
The app can then be previewed by clicking the Preview button at the top of the Settings display.
Customize
There are some minor customization tools available, based on whether the app is a Chat, Weather Widget, Quote, or SMS.
2Chat App Customization
Customization options for a Chat Application begin with Display Type--choose from:
- Start Banner (Floating)
- Exit Intent (Floating)
Depending on the Display Type chosen, different fields for customization will appear.
The customizations to the app can then be previewed by clicking the Preview button at the top-right of the display.
Weather Widget Customization
Customization options for a Weather Widget App also include Display Type, with options for:
- Start Banner (Floating)
- Exit Intent (Floating)
- Embed
Depending on the Display Type chosen, different fields for customization will appear.
At the bottom of the customization display are three options to Add to Outline, including adding a Form Action, End Panel, and End URL.
Form Action 1
Clicking the blue button on Form Action 1 will take you to a detailed customization display with options for Elements and Style. The Preview button in the upper-right corner allows you to see the app with the selected customizations without having to save.
NOTE: Changes to the app aren’t saved until you click out of the Customization tab into either Settings or Connection —in which you are presented a loading screen while the app is validated/updated.
Name, address, email and/or phone are required in the first panel of the weather/quote app. You are free to place the fields in any order you want, in all panels.
The Style tab is global--edits made in this tab will affect all panels of the app, not just the panel that you are currently clicked into.
Form Action 2
Form Action 2 showcases the storms that have hit the address previously entered.
Weather Report is required to be in a resulting panel after Form Action 1.
Form Action 3
Form Action 3 allows for customization of the appointment scheduling display.
End Panel
Further customization for the Request Submitted display can be found by clicking the blue edit button on End Panel.
Quote Form App Customization
The Quote form customization tools allow for advanced customization of the quote form layout and content. Customization options for a Quote Form App also include Display Type, with options for:
- Start Banner (Floating)
- Exit Intent (Floating)
- Embed
Depending on the Display Type chosen, different fields for
customization will appear.
For example, the initial customization screen for the Embed Display Type will appear as below with two panels for customization and options to add to the outline:
Clicking the blue edit buttons on this screen will take you to a detailed customization view with similar formatting and editing features as the Weather Widget.
Connection
This section allows you to grab the script code needed for connecting customers to your lead portal.
*NOTE: All app scripts are best placed within the footer of a site through the CMS platform. When added to the header, a delayed pop-up can occur due to conflicting scripts.
Adding a New Marketing Source
Adding a new marketing source can be done by clicking the + button on the right of the Manage dashboard. This will bring up options for customizing the new source. Fields here are the same as the options when Editing an Existing App, however only the Settings tab is available.
