In Ads Manager, the "Paused" status is shown in a black tag.
The most common reason for the Paused status is that you have paused the ad campaign directly in Facebook. If you pause the campaign in Facebook, that will be reflected in PSAI with the black "Paused" tag.
Other possible reasons for the Paused status include:
- Expired payment method: To update billing, see these instructions for updating your Facebook payment method.
- Inactive leads: If the ad should be live but leads have been inactive for too long, Facebook may automatically pause the ad on your behalf. (If this happens and you aren't sure why or how to address it, please contact us for support.)
Please note that pausing your ad campaign within Facebook is the only change that will be reflected here in PSAI. If you change the ad's duration, wording, or budget directly within Facebook, then these changes will not be reflected from your Ads Manager dashboard.
