How Do Notifications Work for Phone Numbers?

PSAI phone numbers are able to receive incoming phone calls and SMS messages. However, at this time, notifications are only provided for SMS leads.

So when you create your PSAI phone number and add email addresses and SMS numbers for notifications (as shown below), these team members will only receive a notification when an SMS lead comes in—not a phone call.


Although you will not receive notifications for phone calls, they will still appear in your Com Portal in real time whenever a lead calls. All current calls are marked by the status of "In Progress."


As a best practice, we recommend staying logged into the Com Portal so that you're ready to add the lead's contact information as you speak on the phone. Explore more best practices for handling SMS and phone leads here. (Links coming soon!)
