Facebook Lead Form vs. Storm Report Page

Whenever you launch a storm campaign in PSAI, you'll be able to choose between two types of lead conversion forms: a Facebook Lead Form and a Storm Report Page. Both options encourage Facebook users to provide their contact information and both options provide a weather report to the user, but they work in different ways.

Learn more about these two options below.

Choosing Between a Facebook Lead Form and a Storm Report Page

In most cases, we recommend using a Facebook Lead Form for storm campaigns. Here are the key differences:

  • Facebook Lead Form: By keeping the form within the Facebook platform, you'll reduce potential barriers to conversion and encourage more Facebook users to complete it. Lead form leads are further down the funnel; because a storm hit recently, a storm report would simply state the obvious and may not be compelling as a stand-alone offer. These leads are instead ready to set an appointment, and the Facebook lead form is the quickest way for them to do it.
  • Storm Report Page: This option is better suited for historical storms. These leads are softer leads who are expressing an interest in viewing a storm report (rather than setting an appointment). In this case, it is likely that their roof is not leaking and they don't know whether an appointment is needed.

When the Facebook user clicks Learn More on the ad, they will be brought to a Facebook lead form directly in their Facebook feed. This form will look similar to the one below.

After the user completes the Facebook lead form, they'll receive a weather report via SMS.

Example of a Storm Report Page

A storm report page is a dedicated landing page that is automatically created by PSAI.

If you choose the Storm Report Page option when launching a storm campaign, your ad design will look similar to the one below.
